Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing the SpendPeek Chrome extension or using the SpendPeek website and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

SpendPeek is a Chrome browser extension that provides estimated advertising spend data based on publicly available information from the Meta Ad Library. All figures displayed are estimates and should not be treated as exact values.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using SpendPeek, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account and subscription

• Access to SpendPeek features requires a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are displayed at checkout and may change with 30 days' notice.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• One subscription is valid for one user. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

5. Cancellation and refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact help@spendpeek.com within 14 days of purchase if you believe a refund is warranted.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension.
• Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or collect data in bulk from Meta or any other platform.
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense access to the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

7. Intellectual property

All content, code, trademarks, and materials associated with SpendPeek are the property of SpendPeek and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your active subscription.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. SpendPeek does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any spend estimates or data displayed. The estimates are approximations based on publicly available data and standard industry benchmarks.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpendPeek and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to SpendPeek in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Third-party services

SpendPeek relies on data from Meta Ad Library and integrates with third-party services (Stripe for payments, PostHog for analytics). We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services. SpendPeek is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Modifications to the Service and Terms

• We may update or modify the Service at any time without prior notice.
• We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the jurisdiction in which SpendPeek operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
